Use and Care

Soften a dry PVA block in clean water before first cleaning use; do not force the lever while the sponge is hard. Assemble the handle, confirm both retaining pins are seated, and follow the floor manufacturer's moisture and cleaner instructions. Test on an inconspicuous area and never mix chemicals. Keep fingers clear of the rollers, guide arms, and linkage while squeezing. After use, rinse the sponge and mechanism, operate the lever with clear space, and allow the head and frame to dry in a ventilated area. Do not store the sponge against heat or direct flame, and replace a split block, bent pin, damaged roller, or loose joint.
